I am Pittsburgh native, living in New York City, and a 2012 graduate of Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management. I received my B.S. in Entrepreneurship & Emerging Enterprises, with a minor in Music Industry. I’ve spent my career in early-stage startups as a product & content manager, designer, merchandiser, marketer, and QA analyst. As a member of small teams, I’ve had the pleasure of not only being involved in the decision making for large scale projects, but have also been able to intimately manage the end-to-end process of concept ideation, design, development, testing, shipment, and pitching of engaging products.
I'm a customer-first product manager who takes data over intuition and trends before personal tastes. I've been fortunate to work through the many stages of an OTT video company over 5+ years, from early lean operations, scaled distribution, rapid growth, acquisition, and integration. This has resulted in millions of registered users, hundreds of thousands of paying customers, and hundreds of artists live streamed. User acquisition, app development, customer service, technical QA, licensing / royalties, content management, enterprise platform creation, UI/UX, live streaming, partnership campaigns, business development, and financial budgeting are just a few of the areas I have covered extensively and have contributed to my collective learning experience in this exhilarating industry. While at risk of being a "jack of all trades, master of none" these roles have made me a much more informed product manager with the ability to see the field and manage a cross-functional team in a competitive environment. My transition from a small start-up team to a larger organization in post-acquisition has taught me that while a nimble DIY attitude can produce results, meaningful growth is achieved through a clear vision, proper planning, and collective execution from a full team of internal stakeholders.
